According to the NHC Notice of No.3, 2025 on Three New Food (new food raw material, new food additive, and new food-related product) issued by National Health Commission, new substance information has been updated to the following four databases:
1. Approval list of New Food Raw Materials (Novel food): 2 new raw materials
- Sakura polyphenols
- Rye pollen
2. GB 2760-2024 Database: 4 new varieties of food additive
- Peroxidase
- Xylanase
- Magnesium oxide (expand the allowed food scopes)
- Hydrogen peroxide (expand the allowed food scopes)
4. GB 14880-2012 Database: 2 new nutrition enhancers
- 2’-fucosyllactose, 2’-FL (expand the allowed food scopes)
- Lacto-N-neotetraose,
