According to the announcement jointly issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation, National Health Commission, and National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine on June 14, 2023, the database of Health Food Raw Materials Directory has the following updates:

1. Health Food Raw Materials Directory of Nutrition Supplement has been updated to the 2023 edition, with the main changes being:

l  New nutrient added: DHA

l  New compound source of calcium: Casein phosphopeptide + calcium

l  New compound source of iron: Hemin chloride

l  New compound source of Vitamin K : Vitamin K2 (synthetic method)

l  Updated the current valid versions of standards for 5 compounds

l  Added standards for 8 compounds

Note: Compared to the 2020 edition, the daily dosage range of nutrients in the current directory has not changed.

2. New functional health food filing raw materials: soy protein isolate and whey protein, whose health function is to enhance immunity.
