In order to strengthen and standardize the supervision and inspection of food related products, on January 16, 2018, China AQSIQ issued several Implementation Rules on Quality Supervision and Inspection of Food Related Products (draft) (hereinafter referred to as the Implementation Rules) for public comments, which involve 11 categories with 24 kinds of products. Each implementing rule includes the product classification, terminology and definition, inspection references, sampling varieties, sampling methods, test requirements, judging principles, etc. Opinions and advises shall be given before February 16, 2018.
